Dating Safety & User Conduct Policy

Use reasonable caution with every person you meet through an online service. A profile, photograph, identity-verification badge, compatibility score, or background-screening result is never a substitute for your own judgment.

People can misrepresent their age, identity, employment, location, relationship status, finances, intentions, criminal history, or other facts. Stop communication when something feels unsafe, coercive, manipulative, or inconsistent.

Do not publish sensitive identifying information in your public profile. Avoid posting your home address, private workplace location, Social Security number, financial-account information, passwords, security codes, government-identification numbers, or other information that could facilitate identity theft or stalking.

Use caution before disclosing your last name, personal email address, private telephone number, daily schedule, employer, children’s information, or real-time location to someone you have not established trust with.

Never provide passwords, one-time security codes, banking credentials, or remote access to your device to another member.

Do not send money, cryptocurrency, gift cards, wire transfers, bank credentials, or financial assistance to someone merely because you met them through RealMatchForMe.

Be cautious if someone quickly claims a crisis, inheritance problem, medical emergency, travel problem, military deployment issue, investment opportunity, customs fee, business emergency, or other story designed to create urgency or sympathy.

Report requests for money, investment schemes, account access, check deposits, package forwarding, or attempts to recruit you into suspicious financial transactions.

Consider using RealMatchForMe’s internal communication features during early conversations when available. A person who immediately pressures you to move to an encrypted application, unknown website, private email account, or financial platform may be attempting to avoid moderation or reporting systems.

Do not click suspicious links or download unknown files sent by another member. Use caution with QR codes, login pages, investment sites, and requests to “verify” yourself through an unfamiliar third-party site.

Photographs and video can be edited, stolen, generated, or manipulated. Reverse-image searches and other verification steps may be useful, but no single method proves identity.

Do not send intimate images, sensitive documents, or material you would not want copied or disclosed. Another person may save, screenshot, record, distribute, or misuse content even if you expected it to remain private.

Sextortion, threats to publish private images, and demands for money or additional images are prohibited. Preserve evidence and contact law enforcement if you are being threatened or extorted.

For initial meetings, choose a populated public location. Tell a trusted friend or family member where you are going, who you are meeting, and when you expect to return.

Arrange your own transportation to and from the meeting. Do not rely on a new date to pick you up at home or provide your only way home.

Keep control of your phone, identification, keys, money, drink, and personal belongings. Consider sharing your plans or location with a trusted person using a tool you control.

If you feel uncomfortable or unsafe, leave. You do not owe another person additional time, transportation, access to your home, physical contact, or an explanation for ending the meeting.

Consent to sexual or physical activity must be voluntary and may be withdrawn at any time. A match, message, date, prior relationship, previous sexual activity, or payment for a dating-service membership is never consent to sexual activity.

Coercion, sexual pressure, unwanted sexual contact, threats, incapacitation-based exploitation, stealthing or other non-consensual conduct is prohibited and may be unlawful.

Users are responsible for making their own informed decisions regarding sexual health, contraception, sexually transmitted infection testing, and other personal health matters. RealMatchForMe is not a medical provider.

Harassment, stalking, repeated unwanted contact, intimidation, threats, physical violence, property damage, doxxing, revenge pornography, coercive control, or attempts to locate a member after that person has clearly ended contact are prohibited.

Do not use information learned through RealMatchForMe to surveil, follow, track, intimidate, investigate, expose, or harm another person without lawful authority and legitimate purpose.

Threats, targeted harassment, or degrading abuse directed at a person because of race, color, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or another protected status are prohibited.

Members may have lawful dating preferences. However, preferences do not excuse harassment, threats, humiliation, or discriminatory conduct that violates applicable law or this Policy.

You may not impersonate another person, use stolen photographs, materially falsify identity, or create a profile for the purpose of fraud, deception, surveillance, manipulation, commercial solicitation, or evading an account restriction.

You may not falsely claim to be affiliated with RealMatchForMe, law enforcement, the military, a government agency, a celebrity, a business, or another organization.

RealMatchForMe is strictly for adults age 18 and older. Any attempt by a minor to use the dating service, or by an adult to knowingly facilitate a minor’s participation, is prohibited.

Users may not seek sexual or romantic contact with minors through the Service, exchange sexual content involving minors, or misrepresent age to defeat age restrictions. Suspected child sexual exploitation may be reported to appropriate authorities as required or permitted by law.

RealMatchForMe may not be used to advertise, solicit, facilitate, or arrange prostitution, escort services, commercial sexual services, human trafficking, sexual exploitation, or coercive labor.

Any indication of trafficking, exploitation, or immediate danger should be reported to appropriate emergency or law-enforcement resources.

You may not use the Service to threaten another person with a weapon, arrange unlawful weapons transactions, distribute illegal drugs, facilitate drugging of another person, or plan violence or other dangerous criminal conduct.

The possession or lawful carrying of an item outside the Service is governed by applicable law; however, intimidation, threats, and unsafe conduct toward members remain prohibited regardless of whether an item is lawfully possessed.

Do not use dating profiles or messages for spam, pyramid schemes, investment solicitation, political fundraising, lead generation, unrelated employment recruiting, product sales, or other commercial solicitation without RealMatchForMe’s express written authorization.

Do not harvest member contact information or compatibility data for external marketing or database-building purposes.

Do not publish another member’s private messages, intimate information, home address, telephone number, workplace, photographs, or identifying details for the purpose of harassment, intimidation, humiliation, or retaliation.

Laws concerning audio recording, video recording, and consent vary by jurisdiction. Members are responsible for complying with applicable recording and privacy laws.

Use available in-service reporting tools or contact info@realmatchforme.com to report suspected scams, threats, harassment, impersonation, underage use, exploitation, account compromise, or other serious violations.

Provide enough information for us to identify the relevant account or communication. Do not submit knowingly false reports or use reporting tools to retaliate against a person for declining a date or ending a relationship.

RealMatchForMe may not be able to disclose the details of an internal safety investigation or action taken against another user.

RealMatchForMe is not an emergency-response service. If you or another person is in immediate danger, contact 911 or the appropriate local emergency service. If you believe a crime has occurred, consider contacting law enforcement in the jurisdiction where the incident occurred.

Preserve relevant messages, usernames, dates, screenshots, transaction records, and other evidence when safe to do so.

Illinois members should remember that an online dating profile may be falsified and that identity theft or deception is possible. Exercise caution when communicating with any stranger who wants to meet you.

Avoid placing identifying information such as your home address, private phone number, personal email address, workplace, or other sensitive identifying information in an initial public profile or early messages. End communication if someone pressures you for personal or financial information.

If you meet another member face-to-face, tell a trusted person where you are going and when you expect to return, use your own transportation, and meet in a public place with other people present.

Depending on the circumstances, we may issue a warning, remove content, restrict messaging, require verification, suspend or terminate an account, preserve records, or refer information to law enforcement or another appropriate authority when legally permitted or required.

Our decision not to take a particular enforcement action does not mean conduct is safe, lawful, or endorsed.
