Terms of Use

RealMatchForMe is an adult dating, compatibility, and relationship-introduction service. You must be at least eighteen (18) years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract to create an account or use member-to-member dating features.

By using the Service, you represent that you are 18 or older; the information you provide about your age and identity is truthful; you are not prohibited by law from using the Service; and you will comply with these Terms and applicable law.

We may request age or identity verification where reasonably necessary for safety, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or account integrity. We may suspend or terminate an account if we reasonably believe the user is underage or has materially misrepresented identity or age.

RealMatchForMe is intended to help adults identify potentially compatible people through member profiles, preference information, personality and compatibility questionnaires, algorithms, matching criteria, and other relationship-oriented tools.

The Service may provide compatibility indicators, suggested matches, profile recommendations, shared-interest indicators, personality observations, or other automated or human-assisted recommendations. These are informational tools only. They do not guarantee chemistry, attraction, honesty, safety, relationship success, or any particular outcome.

RealMatchForMe is not a medical, psychiatric, psychological, therapeutic, legal, financial, or clinical service. Any “personality,” “compatibility,” or similar assessment offered through the Service is intended for dating and social compatibility, not diagnosis or treatment.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete account information and to keep material account information reasonably current.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your username, password, authentication credentials, and devices used to access your account. You may not permit another person to impersonate you or use your account as though it were that person’s own account.

You must notify us promptly at info@realmatchforme.com if you suspect unauthorized access, account takeover, identity misuse, or another security problem. We may require verification before restoring access or changing sensitive account information.

Unless expressly permitted by a feature, each account must represent one real individual. You may not create deceptive duplicate accounts, impersonate another person, create a fictitious dating identity, or use another person’s name, likeness, photographs, contact information, or biographical details without authorization.

AI-assisted writing may be used for ordinary drafting or grammar assistance if the resulting profile remains truthful. You may not use AI-generated, altered, or synthetic content to materially misrepresent your identity, physical appearance, relationship status, age, occupation, location, intentions, or other facts likely to influence another member’s decision to communicate or meet.

You must comply with the RealMatchForMe Dating Safety & User Conduct Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Without limiting that policy, you may not use the Service for harassment, stalking, threats, violence, sexual coercion, hate-based abuse, fraud, romance scams, identity theft, extortion, human trafficking, prostitution or escort solicitation, unlawful commercial activity, unauthorized surveillance, doxxing, or any other illegal or harmful purpose.

We may investigate reported conduct and take action we reasonably believe is appropriate, including warnings, feature restrictions, content removal, suspension, termination, preservation of evidence, or referral to law enforcement when legally permitted or required.

“Member Content” means text, photographs, profile information, questionnaire responses, messages, and other material you submit through the Service.

You retain ownership of your Member Content. You grant RealMatchForMe a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, format, transmit, and otherwise process Member Content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, moderate, improve, and provide the Service and features you request, subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

You represent that you have the rights necessary to submit your Member Content and that your content does not unlawfully infringe another person’s privacy, publicity, intellectual-property, or other rights.

Private questionnaire responses are not automatically public profile content. We may use them to calculate a compatibility result without displaying the underlying answer to another member, as described in our Privacy Policy and Sensitive Data Consent Notice.

Information you designate for display may be visible to other members consistent with your settings and the operation of the Service. Content intentionally sent to another member may be copied, saved, photographed, recorded, forwarded, or disclosed by that recipient. RealMatchForMe cannot guarantee what another user will do with information you voluntarily reveal to that person.

Do not place highly sensitive identifiers such as Social Security numbers, complete financial-account numbers, passwords, home alarm codes, or government-document numbers in your dating profile or ordinary messages.

RealMatchForMe provides safety information but cannot guarantee the identity, honesty, background, intentions, or conduct of every member. Online information can be false or incomplete, and no technology eliminates the risks of interacting with strangers.

RealMatchForMe does not conduct criminal background screenings on all members. Where our screening practice must be disclosed by law, that disclosure appears at registration and in our Dating Safety & User Conduct Policy. If we ever introduce screening, this section and that disclosure will be updated before the feature goes live.

Even if RealMatchForMe later performs identity verification or criminal-history screening, such measures are not guarantees of safety and should not replace reasonable personal caution.

RealMatchForMe may offer free features, paid memberships, subscriptions, one-time purchases, premium features, or promotional access. The price, duration, renewal terms, included features, and material restrictions of a paid offering will be disclosed before purchase.

If paid features have not yet launched, nothing in these Terms obligates RealMatchForMe to offer a paid plan or any particular feature.

If you purchase a recurring subscription, RealMatchForMe will clearly disclose the recurring price, billing frequency, renewal terms, trial or promotional period if any, and method of cancellation before obtaining billing information and charging you.

Where applicable, recurring charges will continue until canceled. By affirmatively enrolling in a recurring plan, you authorize the disclosed recurring charges until cancellation. We will seek express informed consent to recurring billing and provide a reasonably simple method of cancellation consistent with applicable law.

You are responsible for reviewing the purchase screen and confirmation supplied at enrollment. If a price changes, we will provide any advance notice and obtain any renewed consent required by applicable law.

Payments may be processed by a third-party payment processor acting on our behalf. RealMatchForMe may receive transaction identifiers, payment status, billing information, tokenized payment information, and limited card descriptors, but our goal is not to store complete payment-card numbers or card security codes in the ordinary member-profile database.

You agree to provide valid payment information and authorize charges you affirmatively approve. You are responsible for applicable taxes unless law requires otherwise.

You may cancel an ongoing membership through the cancellation method identified in the account or purchase terms. Cancellation ordinarily stops future renewal charges; access to already-paid service may continue through the end of the paid period unless the applicable offer or law provides otherwise.

Except where these Terms, a purchase offer, or applicable law provides a refund right, fees are nonrefundable after the applicable cancellation period. Mandatory consumer rights always control over a conflicting contractual limitation.

If the Illinois Dating Referral Services Act applies to your purchase, the legally required cancellation and refund rights are incorporated into your agreement and cannot be waived. Because RealMatchForMe is intended to be purchased online rather than at an existing physical dating-service facility, an Illinois customer will be provided at least seven (7) calendar days after entering the paid dating-service contract to cancel and receive a full refund of amounts paid, to the extent required by Illinois law.

For an Illinois contract subject to that Act, cancellation notice must be delivered in the manner required by applicable Illinois law to: RealMatchForMe.com, 5 East College Drive, Suite 102, Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Refunds required by the Act will be issued within the legally required period.

Illinois law may also provide cancellation rights upon qualifying relocation and adjusts obligations upon the death of the customer. Any greater statutory right available to an Illinois customer remains fully preserved.

RealMatchForMe will provide the Illinois customer with a written or electronically reproducible copy of the applicable paid-service contract and will retain contract records for the period required by law.

Other states may provide additional cancellation, refund, automatic-renewal, or membership-contract rights. If applicable law grants you greater rights than these Terms, the law controls. RealMatchForMe does not require a consumer to waive a right that applicable law makes non-waivable.

Any free trial, introductory price, coupon, promotion, or limited-time feature is subject to the disclosed terms of that offer. If a promotion converts to a paid or recurring plan, the conversion terms and price will be disclosed before enrollment and any consent required by law will be obtained.

We may remove content or suspend, restrict, or terminate an account when we reasonably believe the account violates these Terms, threatens safety, involves fraud or abuse, creates material legal or security risk, or is otherwise being used inconsistently with the intended dating and compatibility purpose of the Service.

Where appropriate, we may preserve records relating to a terminated account for fraud prevention, safety, legal claims, regulatory compliance, or other purposes permitted by law.

You may close your account using available account controls or by contacting info@realmatchforme.com. Account closure and data deletion are related but not identical; privacy deletion requests are handled under our Privacy Policy.

The RealMatchForMe name, logos, software, site design, compatibility methodology, original questionnaires, graphics, copy, databases, and other proprietary materials are owned by or licensed to RealMatchForMe and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may use the Service only for your personal, noncommercial dating and relationship purposes unless we give written authorization for another use. You may not scrape, harvest, copy, reverse engineer, republish, sell, sublicense, or systematically extract protected Service content or member data except as permitted by law.

You may not use member accounts, profiles, messages, or compatibility information to create marketing lists, recruit for unrelated businesses, sell products, solicit investments, collect leads, train facial-recognition systems, train unrelated commercial AI models, conduct unauthorized research, or build external databases about members.

Automated scraping, credential stuffing, crawling, bulk data extraction, or circumvention of access controls is prohibited except to the extent a restriction cannot lawfully be enforced.

The Service may link to or integrate with third-party services, such as payment processors, maps, email providers, identity-verification providers, cloud hosts, or social platforms. Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy practices. RealMatchForMe is not responsible for a third party’s independent service or conduct merely because a link or integration is available.

We may send transactional communications relating to account verification, security, purchases, service updates, matching activity you request, customer support, or legal notices. Marketing communications will be handled with the consent and opt-out controls required by applicable law.

You may not be able to opt out of essential security, billing, or legal communications while maintaining an active account.

RealMatchForMe does not guarantee a minimum number of suitable members, communications, dates, introductions, responses, relationships, marriages, or other outcomes unless a specific written paid offer expressly states otherwise.

We do not endorse a member merely because that member appears in a recommendation. Compatibility scores are not safety certifications, background reports, professional diagnoses, or guarantees of truthfulness.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” REALMATCHFORME DISCLAIMS IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT TO THE EXTENT SUCH WARRANTIES MAY LAWFULLY BE DISCLAIMED.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, COMPLETELY SECURE, OR FREE FROM ALL HARMFUL CONDUCT BY OTHER USERS. NOTHING IN THIS SECTION LIMITS WARRANTIES OR CONSUMER RIGHTS THAT CANNOT LEGALLY BE DISCLAIMED.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REALMATCHFORME AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE SERVICE OR ANOTHER USER’S CONDUCT, EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT SUCH A LIMITATION IS PROHIBITED BY LAW.

ANY MONETARY LIABILITY CAP PRESENTED BY REALMATCHFORME WILL NOT APPLY WHERE APPLICABLE LAW PROHIBITS THE CAP, INCLUDING RIGHTS OR REMEDIES THAT CANNOT BE WAIVED. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for conduct that legally cannot be excluded.

You are responsible for deciding whether, when, and how to communicate with or meet another member. You should use reasonable judgment, follow our Dating Safety & User Conduct Policy, and contact emergency services or law enforcement when circumstances require immediate assistance.

RealMatchForMe is not a party to personal relationships, dates, or agreements between members.

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for losses, claims, or expenses arising from your unlawful use of the Service, your material breach of these Terms, or Member Content that unlawfully violates another person’s rights. This provision does not require a consumer to indemnify RealMatchForMe for RealMatchForMe’s own unlawful conduct or where applicable law prohibits such an obligation.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except that mandatory consumer-protection laws of your state of residence remain applicable when they cannot lawfully be displaced by contract.

Nothing in these Terms waives any right under the Illinois Dating Referral Services Act, the Illinois Internet Dating, Internet Child Care, Internet Senior Care, and Internet Home Care Safety Act, or another non-waivable consumer-protection law.

Before filing a non-emergency legal claim, the parties are encouraged to attempt informal resolution by sending a written description of the dispute to info@realmatchforme.com, or by post to 5 East College Drive, Suite 102, Arlington Heights, IL 60004. This informal process does not extend a legal deadline unless the law or a written agreement expressly provides otherwise.

Unless applicable consumer law permits or requires a different venue, legal proceedings may be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Illinois. Consumers retain any right to bring a claim in another forum when applicable law makes that right non-waivable. These Terms do not presently impose mandatory arbitration; the company should obtain legal review before adding any arbitration or class-action waiver.

You consent to receiving these Terms, purchase terms, notices, and other records electronically to the extent permitted by law. Checking an acceptance box, clicking an acceptance button, or otherwise using an electronic process intended to demonstrate agreement may constitute an electronic signature where legally recognized.

You may save or print a copy of these Terms. Paid membership terms should also be made available in a form the customer can retain.

We may update these Terms as the Service, law, or business practices change. The “Effective Date” or “Last Updated” date will identify the current version. If a change materially affects existing rights or obligations, we will provide additional notice or obtain renewed consent where required by law.

Changes will not retroactively eliminate a statutory right that cannot legally be waived.

If a provision is found unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum lawful extent or severed while the remainder remains effective, except where applicable law requires a different result. A failure to enforce a provision once is not a waiver of future enforcement.

You may not transfer your personal account. RealMatchForMe may assign these Terms as part of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of the business or relevant assets, subject to applicable law and privacy obligations.
